AGM & Dinner 2018

Firstly a big well done to all our members – Chris Howser, Neal Mallett, Caryl Oliver, Anton Pollard and Georgina Usher – who competed at the European Veteran Team Champ’s held in the Netherlands over the weekend.

Elsewhere, last Friday we held our AGM and dinner at the Victory Services Club.

There were 17 attendees in all and the meeting itself ran exactly to time.  (I know).  My thanks in particular go to the Hon. Treasurer for his work on the accounts over the past few months, and to Lawrence and the other Trustees for the update given with regard to the CIO and its successes over the past year.

Following the AGM a convivial dinner was held in the Trafalgar room, with the Boris Berliand presented to myself.

On the following day, for the Inns of Court Gold Cup, unfortunately rain meant that those assembled were unable to use the newly-acquired wireless scoring equipment in anger.
