Lavradio 2021

Five intrepid club members braved the Covid freedoms and the impending thunderstorms to take part in the first club competition for more than 16 months. Sue and Rob Brooks, Steve Bateman, Lawrence Burr and our President David Partridge, took up arms at Hurlingham on Saturday 24th July. Following some closely fought matches, admirably refereed by Pat Casey, Steve emerged as a clear winner. The trophy was presented by Alice Kelly (see Photo). Accompanied by guests and club spectators, we retired for tea and at 6.00 o’clock enjoyed a sampling of the Hurlingham barbeque.

Our next outing will be the Marmalade Trophy on Saturday 21st August in Iffley.
