Lefroy 2018

A pleasant afternoon was had by all yesterday at the Hurlingham Club.  With the weather holding out and the bouches system in place we had seven members vying for the Lefroy Cup: Phil Barbasiewicz, Rob and Sue Brooks, Nigel Fancourt, Alp Orge, David Partridge and myself Rob, Phil and I emerged from the pool tied on 4 victories apiece and, after the 3-way barrage, it was Phil that emerged victorious.

The trophy was presented by Andrew Brannon and afterwards the fencers and spectators retired to the bar for some well-earned refreshments!
